Dulux Trade Quick Dry Undercoat is part 1 of an advanced 2 part water-based, high gloss system, with excellent opacity and coverage. It is specifically designed to provide the best top coat finish with Dulux Trade Quick Dry Gloss, but can be used on all interior wood and metal.

Drying time (recoat): 4-5 hours

Drying time (touch dry): Dependent on temperature and humidity

Application description: Application: Apply by brush, roller or spray. For best results use a good quality synthetic (nylon polyester) brush or a short pile synthetic/mohair roller designed for the application of water-based paints. STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. Apply 1 or 2 coats of Dulux Trade Quick Dry Undercoat , as required, followed by 1 or 2 coats of Dulux Trade Quick Dry Gloss. Where a strong colour change is involved, 2 coats will be required. Newly painted doors and windows should not be closed (tightly) until the paint is fully dry. Airless Spray: For best results use a 208 or 308 Fine Finish tip @ 1100 - 1500 psi. (80 – 100 bar). HVLP: For best results use a 1.8mm Fluid Set. This paint may be susceptible to sagging when applied above 75 microns. For this reason, HVLP is the safer option as this method is naturally slower and more gentle and therefore easier to control. The use of airless spray should only be considered by a competent and experienced sprayer for these products.

Cleaning: After use, remove as much paint as possible from equipment before cleaning with water

Storage: Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost

Disposal: When this paint container is empty please ask your stockist about recycling .If you have leftover paint ,please dispose of it responsibly.

We offer a kerbside delivery service – we will typically try to deliver to your front garden, or driveway: we will leave the product in a safe location adjacent to the main roadway, but off any public highways. Unfortunately, the product cannot be taken around the back of the property, nor can we enter a property for access. If you live in a flat, or terraced house for example, we will still only be able to deliver to the point of the property adjacent to the main roadway. Please ensure that sufficient space is cleared for the delivery, and the delivery vehicle. We will only deliver to registered residential or commercial addresses. We will not deliver to an unsecured allotment, car park, waste ground etc. We will not be held responsible for any damage to your property or any claims resulting from where the delivery is left.

If we are unable to make a delivery, or there is a delay due to access issues, a 20% fee will be payable.

We ask our drivers to be as flexible as possible, but the final decision on delivery remains with them.
